The Whitby Christmas Market & Festival takes place in November. The festival will feature a variety of family-friendly activities, including:

• Live music: Local choirs will perform Christmas carols
• Children's entertainment: Performers will entertain the crowds
• Christmas light switch on: The festival usually ends with the Christmas lights being switched on
